Ok, NKY Reds fans, it looks on paper that the Reds will have a solid pitching staff, young nucleus and a new style of baseball on tap. Will it be enough to get them to the playoffs? With the addition of some
solid bench players it looks as though Jocketty is being creative with his roster getting two left handed bats off the bench. Question is will they compete? Thoughts?

Had a lesson with Will yesterday and after hearing about him signing with the Naval Academy I finally got confirmation that he will indeed sign with the Naval Academy in the spring to a baseball scholarship. We at ATY are extremely proud of Will and look forward to watching him finish up his senior year at Conner and going onto the Division I level.

Session I for our Pitching Classes is in the books and I thought things went extremely well, we were able to get in detail on pitching mechanics and grips and spent quite a bit of time on strength and conditioning aspects of pitching. Schools from all over NKY were represented, with Ryle and Campbell County leading the charge.
We look forward to our December Session II Classes pick up were Session I left off but will still cover all the fundamentals that need to be enforced. Come join Chad Dill…

I have always said everyone has a different arm angle and shouldn't be forced to adapt to the straight over hand style... Everyone is different..
Here is an interesting article on different arm angles and the

Please tell me what you think? Also let me know if you would be interested in hearing from our staff with video, podcasts, feature stories on high school, instruction series and other stuff that can be shared and used within the ATY community?
Any other ideas please forward them on or post in the forum. Thanks,

Hello All,
Finally got a day off and a chance to take a deep breath here in Huntsville. We have started off strong winning 17 games here in April with one more day to go...
Our team as a whole is filled with a variety of personalities and age groups, we have some young guns first time in AA and we have some older guys who have been to the Major Leagues and AA a few years. It makes for a fun group having a mix like that, baseball as in life is filled with unique personalities.
Our weather star…

Curt Moenter joins the Freedom as pitching coach! I am really glad that a former pitcher of mine has joined not only the ATY staff but has also joined the Freedom as pitching coach. I know that Curt will do well, he knows what it takes to win in the Frontier League .. he did enough of it as a member of the Freedom.

Good Luck Curt!
